A Wiltshire Primary School Fashion Show is joined by Bath Rugby Players
The Wiltshire school contacted Jas Fashions 6 months in advance.
The previous year they had staged a very successful ladies evening which included a fashion show hosted by a local ladies wear shop.
This time the committee decided it would be a good idea to include children in the evening and after numerous E mails from the PTA checking the finer details Jas Fashions arrived.
There was a lot of activity in the hall, the catwalk being erected, chairs being put out and the tables to display the smaller items being brought into the hall.
Jas fashions discussed the logistics of the evening, checking where the audience would arrive and depart from, where the models were changing and the where the public changing area would be.
The stock was then arranged in the hall and outfits looked out in readiness for the models.
The staff volunteered to be the lady models on the night – a great draw for the audience and the school were anticipating an audience of over 100 adults.
Another major draw to the evening was the appearance of two Bath rugby players – their role on the evening to escort the lady models down the catwalk and as an added fundraiser to sign autographs on an official Bath rugby poster.
The children models were very well behaved, outfits fitted after a few changes, and the ladies eventually felt happy in the clothes they were to model to the audience.
Jas fashions were given two compares for the evening who hosted the show with panache. The lady models and audience alike all swooned over the two 6 feet plus rugby players who played their part handsomely and added to the show.
The audience arrived, bought their raffle tickets and collected their complimentary drink. The lady and children models were lined up – reminded of their movements and the show began.
The evening was a super success, lots of smiles, clapping and audience appreciation.
The till was busy and the PTA was delighted that Jas fashions had assisted them in raising over £700.00 from the evening.
Jas would like to thank the staff of the Wiltshire school for their support in modelling and the PTA for inviting us to their school.
